Ministry On-Campus Interview

Monday, March 22nd, 2010

Parkside Church PAID Post-Grad
Ministry Internship

  • FT Salary
  • Full health benefits
  • Paid Tuition & Books to Trinity Evangelical Divinity School Akron extension for seminary classes during the year
  • Submit resume to ita.fischer@wheaton.edu by Friday, March 28

Parkside Church in suburban Cleveland, Ohio is currently looking for a male one-year pastoral intern. Parkside Church is an evangelical non-denominational church of 4000 Sunday adult attenders led by senior pastor Alistair Begg. We have a pastoral team of 12 over two campuses.

We are primarily targeting graduating senior men who sense full time pastoral ministry or international missions is in their future. In addition we also want to target juniors who may be considering their next move after graduation next year. Students don’t have to necessarily have a ministry type major nor experience to be considered.

The internship specifically would give a young man regular Bible teaching opportunities (various ministry settings), observation and participation at the leadership level in adult and youth ministries, and would be a participant in our pastoral staff meetings, general church functions, mission trips etc.

Part of what makes us different is that we are not just about giving out a one year of experience but rather helping young men discern God’s call on their life by developing relationships with the pastoral team as a whole.

We pay according to a full time work rate, provide full health benefits and could help find housing (if needed).  Plus, a pastoral intern would go to the Trinity Evangelical Divinity School Akron extension for seminary classes during the year (church pays for tuition and books).

The start date is September 1, 2010. Check out Parkside Church.

If you are interested, submit your resume to ita.fischer@wheaton.edu Subject:  Parkside
