Just wanted to give you a heads-up that you will be getting a 5-minute Zoomerang Survey in your e-mail boxes TODAY.
You will need to fill out this survey prior to picking up your cap and gowns next week. Although we will have computers at the Cap and Gown distribution, avoid the lines and the frustration and complete the survey in advance.
Thanks!

Now this blog is not meant to address Health Care Reform issues, however, it’s smart of think about the consequences of going without insurance (which can establish a pre-existing condition) or how to maintain health care coverage while looking for full time employment.
The Life 101 section of our website has resources specifically chosen to help you answer these types of post-graduation questions including: Understanding Insurance; Getting Healthcare without a Job; Choosing a Bank; Tackling Taxes and How to Find an Apartment.

Junior Launch Night/Senior Refresher
Career Services and the Junior Class Council would like to invite you to a special evening event designed to equip you to “LAUNCH YOUR SENIOR YEAR CAREER SEARCH NOW”. (We also wanted to extend an invitation to Seniors who need a refresher course).
At the conclusion of this evening’s event, participants will better understand how to search, where to search, as well as gain a better understanding of when to start looking, and how long the job search process takes. To accomplish this, Joel Ayee and Alissa Sharp will share their job search stories. We will also be touching on grad school requirements and deadlines.
At the end of the evening, participants will be given a Career Services Checklist and Timeline to assist.
- Date: Tuesday, April 6, 2010
- Time: 6:00 – 7:00 PM
- Place: Blanchard 339
- Presenter: Ita Fischer, Director of Career Services
This is a “real-life” event that is designed to motivate, stimulate, and LAUNCH Juniors (and refresh Seniors) into action! Come and hear why you can’t wait until you are about to graduate if your plan is to secure employment or post-graduate study.
